Peace Lutheran School is committed to
Preparing and Encouraging Adaptable Christians Everyday.
At Peace Lutheran School, students are engaged in a safe and secure environment to enhance learning. Connections are built between home and school to create relationships and provide a sense of family. We value each student as a special and unique child of God. We offer learning opportunities for children preschool through Grade 8 in a compassionate environment filled with genuine love and care. Our faculty and staff provide quality instruction producing motivated learners who take responsibility for their education. Small class sizes allow us to recognize the abilities and talents of each child.
We are a private, Christian school maintained and supported by Peace Lutheran Church. Enrollment is open to students of all faiths, nationalities and ethnic origins. We offer a distinguished Christian education accredited by AdvancED and National Lutheran School Accreditation.
Peace Lutheran School is involved in an on-going curriculum revision process, which annually reviews, revises, and develops a variety of subject areas. Textbooks are selected by the faculty and adopted by the School Board. Selection is based upon pre-determined improvement goals.
How Can You Get Involved?
Parent involvement is available at Peace in a range of opportunities. Participation can include being a room parent, helping teachers plan classroom events, assisting with classroom learning, and working in the library. Parents enjoy getting involved and sharing abilities and interests for the benefit of our students.
What is the Benefit of a Private School?
Research indicates a strong correlation between private schools and high academic performance. Children who attend private schools have increased graduation rates, attendance, and tend to be more stable. Our credentialed teachers provide rigorous learning to equip students with the knowledge and skills to lead productive lives in the community and to make a difference in our world.
