Peace Lutheran School is governed by the Board of Christian Education. The Board is comprised of seven Peace Lutheran Church members who are elected by the congregation to serve two-year terms. Three Members at Large, the principal and the administrative assistant serve as advisory members. The Board is responsible for making school policy to govern the school, guiding the strategic direction of the church and school, confirming the spiritual and financial sustainability of Peace Lutheran and encouraging all constituents in the church and school in ministry. They meet during the first week of every month.
Irene Lindquist, Chair
Irene and her husband have been members of Peace Lutheran since 1971. They have two grown children and four grandchildren living in Tacoma. She has been the church secretary, served as president for LWML, chaired the Fellowship Committee, served on the Evangelism Board, led Bible Studies and sang in the church choir. She worked as a Patient Accounts Specialist at Harrison Hospital and retired in 1999. She and her husband have served as Laborers for Christ for many years. She enjoys photography and publishing the church newsletter and calendar.
Shelley Lance, Member
Shelley has been a member of Peace Lutheran since 1972. She has two daughters, one who attended Peace Lutheran School starting in preschool and continued through the elementary grades. She has been active in the church over the years as a Sunday school teacher, and a member of the LWML women’s group. Currently she is also serving on the Altar Guild committee and has been the treasurer for this group for over 30 years. She recently retired from Federal Service as a Resource Manager for over 37 years.
Sherri Deem, Member
Sherri has been a member of Peace Lutheran since 1968. She has two daughters who attended Peace from preschool through eighth grade and one granddaughter. Sherri is retired from QFC after 38 years. Her daughter, Rachel, teaches the preschool classes at Peace and Sherri aides for her three days a week. Sherri helps with scoring for Peace volleyball and basketball games, she sang in the choir, taught Sunday School, and served on the Youth Board.
Joshua White, Member
Tammy has been a member of Peace Lutheran since 1982. She has two daughters who currently attend Peace. Emerson is in 1st grade, and Amelia is in 4th grade. Tammy has worked as a speech/language pathologist in the Central Kitsap School district for 15 years. Tammy also voluntarily maintains the school’s Facebook page and serves in many other capacities as needed throughout the year.

Jeremy Russell, Member
Jeremy has been a member of Peace Lutheran since 2006. He has 2 daughters that attended Peace Lutheran School from 2006 through 2009. A military transfer moved him and his family to Virginia from 2009-2015 where he retired from military service. In 2015 his company moved him back to the Bremerton area, and his son now attends Peace Lutheran School and is beginning 3rd grade. He currently works for TSM Corporation as a government contractor for the US Navy.
Kim Grasmick, Member-at-Large
Kim Holmes Grasmick is a member of Silverdale Lutheran Church, where she serves as a Care and Eucharistic Minister. She is married to Scott Grasmick, and their daughter has attended Peace Lutheran School since kindergarten. Kim is a partner at Peer Consulting, a healthcare information technology consulting firm, where she is a member of the operations team, manages all human resources functions and manages projects for clients.
Michelle Sotelo, Member
Michelle has been a member at Peace Lutheran since 2003. She has been a Guidance Counselor at Central Kitsap High School for 13 years. She also volunteers in advisory roles for Key Club and is currently the National Honor Society Advisor. She is blessed with a wonderful daughter, Alycia, currently in 1st grade.
