Lutheran Church in Bremerton, WA
Peace is a Lutheran congregation situated minutes away from Naval Base Kitsap in Bremerton, WA. Many of our member families are connected with the Navy in some way--whether veteran or active duty service members, or workers at Bremerton's Puget Sound Naval Shipyard.
If you're new to the area and looking for a church home, Peace Lutheran is a friendly community that exists to share the love that is in Christ Jesus and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit.
Join Us for Worship
Worship with communion is celebrated at 9 am each Sunday. We follow the Divine Service found in the Lutheran Service Book. Education Hour for all ages is at 10:30 am.
Services are recorded if volunteers are present. (If you are able to volunteer as a technology coordinator, please contact our office or mention your availability to an usher Sunday mornings).

The Holy Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God, and the only source and norm for Christian doctrine and practice.
There is only one true God, who has revealed Himself in Three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
By His innocent suffering and death on the cross in our place, Jesus Christ made full atonement for our sins.
Jesus rose from the dead on Easter morning, and 40 days later ascended into heaven where He now lives and reigns to all eternity.
Jesus will return on the last day to judge the living and the dead and take all believers in Him to eternal life and glory.
God comes to us in His Church through chosen means of grace which are the Word of God (The Holy Scriptures) and the Sacraments of Baptism and The Lord’s Supper (Holy Communion), and that through these means of grace He conveys to us His forgiveness.
We are saved only by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ, which is a free gift of The Holy Spirit to us.
Holy Baptism brings us into God’s Kingdom and makes us members of the Body of Christ as we receive the Holy Spirit, who works faith in our hearts.
The Sacrament of Holy Communion is the true body and blood of Christ which is received with the bread and the wine (Real Presence). It is not a symbolic eating and drinking. We believe that those who receive this Sacrament actually eat and drink the body and blood of our Lord and Savior shed for us on the cross.

Every Sunday after the 9 am service, we hold classes for all ages.
Everyone meets in the Fellowship Hall for coffee, a snack, a hymn and a prayer, then disperses to their classes.
Drop your kids off with our wonderful Sunday school teachers and come get fed with God's Word!

Peace Lutheran School is a private, Christian school in Bremerton, WA maintained and supported by Peace Lutheran Church.

Confirmation
Youth 7th grade and up meet for food, fun, and fellowship every Wednesday from 6:00-7:30pm in the Fellowship Hall.
Each last Wednesday of the month is reserved for a potluck with all the youth and their families.
Our youth are involved in service projects around Kitsap County and had a blast attending the last LCMS Youth Gathering in Houston, TX.

Youth of the congregation spend two years in confirmation class taught by Pastor. They study the Bible and Lutheran Confessions. If you have a youth in grade 6 or up, please contact the church office at (360) 377-6253 to talk about confirmation with Pastor.

In the summer Peace hosts a 3-day VBS event.
Students who have just finished 6th grade & younger can register.
Students who have just finished 7th and up can volunteer to be helpers.

Ladies of the congregation meet on the third Saturday of each month for Bible study/Devotions, fellowship and a potluck brunch. We would love to have you join us!
Our LWML quilters meet every Monday morning. Twice each year, they pack and send quilts to Lutheran World Relief.
